135 volunteers participated in this city wide litter pick up. In 3 hours they picked up ½ a ton of litter.

In March, we received a 50-50 match grant for $5000 from the Arkansas Forestry Commission. These funds are for trees in city parks and along streets. We planted 25 trees in several FS city parks, 23 along N. Greenwood Rd. and 12 at the Future School of Fort Smith (new charter school in downtown).
Arkansas House Resolution 1004
